Types Of Esthetician Test Questions You Need To Be Prepared For

By Estelle Larsen

When you want to become a professional, there is an examination that you have to go through. It might be so that you can become certified or so that you can get your license for the profession you have entered. If you wish to become an esthetician, then you will be instructed to answer a set of esthetician test questions.

It is only a given for the aspiring professionals to pass this testing. After all, this is the best way to ensure that you get the qualification that will prove all your hard work. You should never fail this exam if you want to walk the path of a professional as soon as possible. Failing means retaking the test and studying hard again.

The said testing should not be taken for granted. After all, it is a measure of one's skills and capabilities for the said profession so you have to give your best foot forward for it. Otherwise, you will not be able to work in this profession. If you are testing, then here are the exam types you should be aware of.

Multiple choice. Through the multiple choice, you will be provided a question that you must answer. In this type, you will be provided the correct answer thrown together in a group of wrong ones. You need to pick out among the bunch of choices which one is the right answer. The least amount of choices you will be provided is two.

Identification. In this type, you will have to take note of some trigger words to be able to answer. The tactic of using trigger word is best used when you are having a hard time memorizing the full definition of terms. This type of test will require you to give the correct term the given definition is referring to, after all.

Matching type. In the said question type, you will be tested in a similar fashion as the multiple choice and the identification. You will be given a column that is filled with questions or definitions and another column with a bunch of answers. You will need to match up the answers in one column to their corresponding definitions.

True or false. For the said type, you will be given statements that are either true or false. In standard instructions, you will write true for the correct statements and false for those that are wrong. There is a modified type to this though. Sometimes, you will be asked to correct the word or phrase in the statement that makes it false.

Fill in the blanks. This is the type of question where you will be given a statement where one or two words will be replaced with a blank. It will be up to you to put in the right answers in the blank provided. There are instances when the answers are given in a box and you have to choose which ones are to be filled in which blanks.

Essay. This is where your writing and reasoning skills are to be tested. You will be given a problem or a question and you have to answer it in detail. You might be asked to defend your answer.
